Your tour starts with hotel pickup in Livingstone for a 3-hour drive safari to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where your game drive and a short nature walk safari to the white rhinos are conducted by your guide. Game drives and rhino walk safaris provide a more natural and eco-friendly way of viewing African game, birds, and plant life.
The Mosi-oa-Tunya national park is home to three of Africa’s Big Five animals—elephants, buffalo, and a big part of Zambia’s white rhino population. Your guide will also show you wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, primates, and antelopes—to mention but a few—as well as the local tree varieties, including teaks, mahoganies, and the mopane and marula trees, a favorite of the elephants.
During a break at the picnic spot near the Zambezi River, you’ll have the chance to observe hippos and ibis along the riverbanks while having your refreshments and some finger snacks. When your time ends, you’ll be returned to your pickup location to end your tour.
